CJI agrees for urgent listing of hijab case before March 9

Today, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud agreed to take a call on an urgent listing of the hijab case before the commencement of exams scheduled on March 9. In the Hijab case, Muslim girls were seeking interim relief for allowing them to wear hijabs and attend exams in the government colleges. This case was mentioned today by Advocate Shadan Farast before the Chief Justice of India (CJI).
